Mission

Inspiring more fans of Japan worldwide.

We focus on every detail of experiences that touch travelers' hearts, embodying the spirit of Japanese 'omotenashi' to create unforgettable journeys that inspire more people globally to become fans of Japan.

Vision

Realizing Regenerative Tourism.

We aim not only to improve the environment of travel destinations through the tourism industry but also to foster deeper international mutual understanding and encourage a renewed appreciation of regional uniqueness by promoting interaction between visitors and local communities. In doing so, we contribute to creating a virtuous cycle that revitalizes regional communities, economies, and traditional cultures.

Value

Practicing the value of "Sampo-Yoshi".

Guided by the principle of "Sampo-Yoshi", we are committed to fostering a tourism industry where all stakeholders grow together with gratitude, while striving to realize a sustainable approach for the future.

“Sampo-Yoshi”

("Sampo-yoshi" is a business philosophy from Omi merchants since Edo period that emphasizes a win-win-win approach: good for the seller, good for the buyer, and good for society. It seeks to benefit all parties involved, creating positive outcomes for everyone.)

Message Greetings from the CEO

The purpose of travel is to explore and discover the unknown.

This unknown often lies in the unique cultures that local people have cherished and passed down through generations.

In this sense, travel is a journey to seek out encounters with different communities and cultures, and to find inspiration in them.

Japan is now emerging as a new destination in the global spotlight. The unique culture that our predecessors built and preserved is captivating the world today. Just as the appeal of different parts of the world is rooted in their unique cultures, Japan's charm, from a global perspective, lies in the distinct culture inherited from our ancestors and the people who sustain it.

In today's era of globalisation, our country has embraced the cultures of other nations, allowing us to enjoy a diverse and rich lifestyle. At the same time, the villages, unique Japanese culture, traditions, and philosophies that our forebears carefully preserved are in danger of being lost.

If the tide of globalisation causes not only Japan but also the rest of the world to become homogenised, leading to the loss of unique local cultures, it would mean the loss of what makes travel so exhilarating.

Japan faces numerous social challenges, such as an ageing society, population decline, and labour shortages. In the long run, even maintaining the current economic status quo could prove difficult, and there is a real risk of regional traditions and cultures disappearing.

To overcome this crisis, it is essential to reassess the unique Japanese culture that has been valued and passed down through generations, to understand the true history that is not found in textbooks, and to regain a sense of pride as Japanese people.

If more Japanese people take pride in their own culture and history, engage in international exchange with confidence, and become ambassadors of our traditions, Japan will become an even more captivating country to the world. This will create a positive cycle, both socially and economically.

The world is wonderful, but Japan is even more so!

We believe that by taking pride in our traditional culture and passing it on to the next generation, we can create a truly 'Japanese' sustainable society.
